Not all of us manage to maintain warm relations with our neighbors — but it is worth trying to establish contact: those who do not trust those who live nearby and constantly conflict with them have twice the risk of heart disease.
Not all of us manage to maintain warm relations with our neighbors — but it is worth trying to establish contact: those who do not trust those who live nearby and constantly conflict with them have twice the risk of heart disease. Such an instructive observation was made by epidemiologists from Harvard (USA). Researchers led by Dr. Daniel Kim studied the health of 3000 women and men aged 32-50, with particular attention to the development of coronary artery pathologies. It turned out that cool relations with neighbors are an accurate indicator of the risk of heart disease — especially in women who spend more time at home with children and have the opportunity to actively communicate with the environment.
