Use of the drug

States of increased demand for magnesium and the prevention of magnesium deficiency

1. Adults. Orally: 2-4 tablets / day in a dose division (80-160 Mg2 + / d).

States of latent and manifest magnesium deficiency

1. Adults. 4-6 tabl./d in a dose division (160-240 mg Mg2 + / d).
2. Kids. Individually, in older children usually 2-4 tablets / dw dose. division (80-160 mg Mg2 + / d).

Magnesium Asparticum 0,6 and contraindications

Contraindications to the use of Magnesium Asparticum 0,6 are:

1. severe kidney failure,
2. atrioventricular conduction disturbances (block),
3. bradycardia,
4. myasthenia gravis,
5. allergy to any component of the preparation,
6. excess magnesium in the blood.

Magnesium Asparticum 0,6 – warnings

1. Caution should be exercised in patients with impaired renal function.
2. Before using Magnesium Asparticum 0,6 during pregnancy or breastfeeding, a doctor should be consulted.
3. Before using the preparation, the patient should consult a doctor if he has an intolerance to certain sugars.
4. Serum magnesium levels should be monitored during long-term treatment.
5. Do not give the drug to children under 4 years of age.

Magnesium Asparticum 0,6 and other substances

1. The preparation reduces the absorption of tetracyclines, iron compounds, fluoride and oral anticoagulants (e.g. warfarin). A 2-3 hour interval should be maintained between the administration of these drugs and the administration of the preparation.
2. High doses of calcium compounds and phosphates reduce the absorption of magnesium.
