Pasta casserole with cheese – simple and tasty
The traditional recipe is very simple. Even a novice housewife can handle the preparation of this dish. You will need:
– boiled pasta (yesterday’s can be 300 g); – butter (1 tbsp. L.); – cheese (200 g); – eggs (3 pcs.); – salt (to taste).
Spaghetti can also be used to make casseroles. But it is better to cut long pasta into several parts, otherwise the casserole will turn out too dense.
Melt the butter and mix with eggs and salt. You can beat the mixture a little with a mixer, then the casserole will be more fluffy. Grate cheese, add half to the mixture. Boiled pasta (it is better to take products from durum wheat – they keep their shape perfectly, the casserole will turn out to be fluffy) put in a mold with high sides, pour over beaten eggs with cheese. Place in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for 15 minutes. After this time, open the oven door and sprinkle the remaining cheese on the casserole. Leave on for 2-3 minutes. The dish is ready. The cheese casserole is a great stand-alone dish that can be served for breakfast, or used as a second at lunch.
Pasta casserole with cheese and vegetables – tasty and healthy
Vegetables contain many nutrients. But children, and even some adults, do not like the taste of boiled or stewed zucchini, eggplant, carrots, etc. To please the fussy, you can mix the two dishes. It will turn out not only tasty, but also healthy.
For a casserole with cheese and vegetables, you will need:
– tomatoes (200 g); – eggplant (200 g); – zucchini (200 g); – carrots (100 g); – onions (1 medium onion); – olive oil (1 tbsp. L.); – boiled pasta (300 g); – butter (1 tbsp. L.); – hard cheese (200 g); – eggs (3 pcs.); – salt (to taste).
For casseroles, you can choose a variety of vegetables – green beans, bell peppers, Brussels sprouts. You can also add fresh mushrooms to the dish.
Vegetables are cut into cubes and tomatoes are cut into small pieces. Simmer for 40 minutes over low heat with the addition of olive oil and water. Then grated cheese, butter and pasta are added to a saucepan or stewpan with vegetables. The ingredients are mixed and transferred to a baking dish. Beat the eggs a little with salt and pour on top. The casserole is cooked in the oven at 180 ° C for 20 minutes. 2-3 minutes before cooking, you can sprinkle it with grated cheese.
