PSYchology

Minimum time and effort — maximum effect, which is immediately noticeable. According to this principle, the famous qigong teacher Michael Rotter built an exercise program for those who usually find it difficult to force themselves to practice.

The “Lazy-Slovenly” practice takes 15 minutes, and you can do it immediately after waking up. All exercises should be done while sitting: lying down is easy to fall asleep. “Of course, a full-fledged two-hour session would be more effective. But a lazy person will not do it for a long time anyway. And a quarter of an hour is much better than nothing,” the author reasoned. He selected three traditional directions that have proven themselves well over several millennia: the practice of «Eight pieces of brocade», the ancient Taoist qigong, in which there are many elements of self-massage, and the «sound» exercises of Lu-Ji-Jue. As a result of systematic exercises, the body becomes stronger and more flexible, there is more energy. So that the simplicity of the techniques does not confuse the reader, Rotter describes in detail their effects on the body. It turns out that tapping your teeth stimulates the brain, strengthens the stomach and prevents the appearance of caries. Cheek puffing relaxes facial muscles, reduces wrinkles and improves mood. And the rotation of the eyes improves vision and even eliminates a false sense of hunger.
