Lunar calendar for summer residents from 22 to 28 March

The season is officially considered open – the seeds have been bought and sown for seedlings, the equipment has been checked, there is nothing left before working in the open air, you just need to wait for steady heat.

It’s too early to dig the beds: you need to wait until the ground is completely thawed out and at least dries out a little. But you can deal with future tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers, do cleaning on the site, cut trees – for this now is the time, until the sap flow has begun. And on which day of work will be most effective, our lunar calendar for the week from March 22 to March 28 will tell you.

By the way

Many crops need to be sown before the end of March to get an early harvest. Of course, not in open ground, but for seedlings. Flowers, vegetables and herbs that need an early start include:

  • Flowers – petunia, verbena, marigolds, night violet, sweet peas and tobacco, allisum, marigolds, Chinese cloves, verbena. It’s time to put dahlia tubers and gladioli bulbs in a box with sawdust – with the onset of heat, they need to be planted in a flower bed.

  • Tomatoes – low and medium-sized varieties.

  • Bell pepper – in an amicable way, it had to be sown at the end of February, as they germinate for a long time.

  • Eggplant – before sowing, the seeds must be soaked for 2-3 days.

  • Cabbage – it should be sown no earlier than March 15, now is the time for cabbage.

  • Carrots – it is better to sow it in paper boxes so as not to injure the seedlings during transplantation.

  • Celery, onion, spinach, Chinese cabbage

  • Greens and radishes – they are considered frost-resistant, so at the very end of March they can be sown directly into the ground, if the weather permits.
