When should they bother?
Recently, I performed an ultrasound of the thyroid gland, the doctor detected 2 nodules up to 1 cm, thyroid hormones are normal. I am worried if I should remove these nodules so that they do not develop cancer. What should I do, what other tests should I do to make sure everything is alright? May 42 years
Lumps in the thyroid gland are quite a common find. However, they are rarely associated with neoplastic disease.
