The amount of one-time assistance at the birth of a baby is not affected by how much he was born. Both the parents of the child and the guardians are entitled to the payment, regardless of employment and type of activity. If the newborn died after the birth certificate was issued, the one-time aid is still issued.
If the misfortune happened before the registration of the baby, the allowance will be denied. But in this case, on the basis of the death certificate, parents will be able to issue social assistance for burial.
Today, the size of the lump sum payment for the second baby is 16873 rubles. The regional coefficient applicable in the region is applied to the amount. To assign assistance, you must submit the following package of documents:
- birth certificate;
- a statement from a parent or guardian;
- marriage certificate or its dissolution;
- a certificate from the place of employment of the second parent, certifying that he did not draw up compensation;
- for a single mother, you will need a certificate confirming the status.
The allowance is assigned no later than 10 days from the date of submission of documents. Payment is made on the day wages are issued for the reporting period.
