Usually, potency advice centers around those products and behaviors that are good for our libido. Sometimes, however, it is enough to simply get rid of some eating habits that silently, imperceptibly to us, make us avoid sex like the plague. They increase fatigue, lower testosterone levels, or have a lazy effect … Such a feeling is certainly not conducive to a successful intimate life, so it’s good to know what to give up so as not to deprive yourself of a chance for successful sex!
Many products lower testosterone levels, even those commonly recognized as healthy and beneficial for the body’s condition. Although healthy eating is usually recommended as a way to improve libido, unfortunately, the inconspicuous soy greatly reduces the level of the aforementioned “male hormone” and causes an increase in female estrogen. Based on research, it has been proven that too frequent consumption of soy products by men (about 120 mg per day) weakens male potency and at the same time shortens the erection. As if that wasn’t enough, too much soy means bad sperm quality.
Of course, this is not about giving up on a healthy lifestyle. On the contrary – replacing soy with fatty meats and fast food will bring a similar effect, but more on that in a moment. The best way is simply to eat soy in moderation!
Hidden enemies of erection – peppermint, hormones and antibiotics
The intake of hormones and antibiotics also affects the libido. Although many of us are not aware of it, it is not about what we take in the form of tablets – it is also about food products of animal origin: milk, cheese, meat, in which these harmful substances are hidden. Since they were fed to animals, we also swallow them. And this is the real “hidden enemy” of our sexual performance, because it changes the hormonal balance. How to fix it? It’s best to be careful what and where we buy. Eco-food is not an invention, but a response to the ubiquitous harmful substances contained in food products. Try to buy only from proven and reliable sources.
More interestingly, mint tea can also effectively reduce testosterone levels. It may be good for digestion, but certainly not for libido. Similarly, the so-called unrefined carbohydrates, i.e. cornflakes.
Fried fries and beer? Not today
Although a glass of wine before intercourse may help more than harm, too frequent or too large amounts are killers of successful sex. Some people use alcohol to give themselves energy and courage, but unfortunately in excess it does more harm than good. It is also good to pay attention to the type of drink you choose – let’s focus on red wine, and avoid gin and tonic and tonic alone, because they contain quinine that lowers testosterone.
Fried food has similar properties. First of all, fries will be dangerous – not only are they fried in deep fat, generally unhealthy, they are also sprinkled with salt, which can cause problems with blood pressure. And from there it’s a short way to libido problems…
