love your place

One of the important components of psychological well-being is a sense of home, attachment to a certain place, which is often called the “small homeland”.

The phenomenon of attachment to home was the subject of a study by Canadian psychologist Carol Molcar, presented in July at the international conference “Addiction, Meaning and Spirituality” in Vancouver (Canada). It turned out that this feeling intensifies with age and is related to how long a person has lived in this place and whether the house is his property. Attachment is especially important for the mental well-being of older people.
