Love juice: all you need to know about vaginal arousal secretion

The love juice is to the woman what the pre-seminal fluid is to the man. Vaginal secretion, its role is essential in the sexuality of partners. But its production can be disrupted during the life of women. Under these conditions, it may be necessary to use a vaginal lubricant such as intimate gel.

Cyprine: definition, composition and role

What is it ?

Cyprine is a liquid secreted by Bartholin’s glands, or vestibular glands, located internally at the level of the labia majora of the vulva. This vaginal secretion is stimulated by the sexual arousal of the woman, it causes a sensation of humidity.

The composition of vaginal secretion

Cyprine is mainly composed of water, as well as a large number of chemical elements – urea, lactic acid, squalenes and ketones in particular. Cyprine also contains bacterial flora: bacterial microorganisms that act as a protective barrier against infections.

Note: to maintain the balance of the vaginal flora, an essential element of love juice, it may be useful to take occasional probiotic treatments.

A viscous and transparent fluid, this natural vaginal lubricant is similar in appearance to pre-cum. He also shares the same functions with him.

Note: when the woman has a female ejaculation – “squirting woman” – the liquid then secreted differs from the love juice, just as the ejaculatory liquid is different from the pre-seminal liquid. Likewise, the white discharge observed during the menstrual cycle is different from the love juice.

Cyprine: a role of vaginal lubricant

In principle, the woman secretes love juice at the time of sexual arousal. In sufficient quantity, the love juice wets the vulva from the inner walls of the vagina to the labia minora. The lubricating properties of this liquid allow the woman to have the vagina “wet”: the penetration necessary for the report is then greatly facilitated. This natural vaginal lubricant is thus essential for female comfort, insofar as in its absence, the woman can feel unpleasant friction and observe irritation at the end of the sexual act. Cyprine also participates in reproduction.

Note: the love juice also helps protect the vaginal area.

Vaginal secretion: factors affecting the production of love juice

From one woman to another, from one period of her life to another, the appearance and quantity of vaginal secretion vary. Texture, smell, flavor or even color, so many elements to observe to detect a possible anomaly in the production of love juice. If the change in its appearance can be trivial – when the menstrual cycle is involved, in particular – certain alerts must be taken seriously.

So when the love juice smells stronger than usual, or a darker color, for example, it may be a sign of a vaginal infection. A bad diet, the consumption of alcohol and drugs or even stress can also modify the appearance of the love juice, without however affecting the functions of vaginal lubricant.

In terms of quantity, it is customary for women to secrete more fluid as their level of sexual arousal is high. In any case, the love juice is produced a priori throughout sexual intercourse provided that the excitement remains.

When vaginal lubricant is not enough

Certain periods in a woman’s life – menopause or postpartum, for example – illnesses, the pill or even psychological factors can inhibit the production of love juice. In the event of proven vaginal dryness, partners are advised to use a commercial lubricant – except for the man to secrete enough pre-ejaculatory fluid – in order to maintain comfort and allow penetration.

Note: the woman can secrete love juice before intercourse, without the vaginal lubricant playing its role throughout the duration of the sexual act. This can happen especially when intercourse is long and the woman’s arousal decreases. In this case, it may also be useful to have recourse to an intimate gel.
