This book is a collection of posts that Boris Akunin has been publishing on his blog since 2010. Reflections, travel experiences, amazing or just funny anecdotes. The book is designed as a LiveJournal page — here you can even read comments left by users on posts.
Boris Akunin published the notes collected here in his blog (borisakunin.livejournal.com) from the moment of its creation — November 2010 — to August 2011. The book is even designed as a page in LiveJournal, and at the end of almost every post there are comments from blog readers. The author shares his discoveries made while reading books or traveling somewhere. The stories are incredibly entertaining. Outlandish cases, facts and biographies that are unsuitable for a fiction writer for only one reason: “life, if it starts to come up with unusual plots, then … it will do such tricks that you try to insert it into a novel — the reader will not believe it,” Akunin notes. But the main value of the miniatures lies in the amazing intersection of the described events and characters with today’s day, which means that it is possible to understand something about your life and, perhaps, argue with the author, and literally argue: until now, all stories can be found in Learn the writer and add your comment. That is, in its own way, in electronic format, to continue this book.
