Love cannot be described, it can only be felt. It is as natural as our breathing. Her secret is to remember to exhale if you inhale too deeply.

The word “love” for many now has become just a set of letters that have lost their meaning. However, it is in each of us. Let’s talk about love from the point of view of Shen Jen Gong qigong meditation practice.

When a person meditates, he sinks into silence, into a formless space. Since it is formless, it cannot be explained, unfortunately. But the practitioners of meditation speak of a certain light within this space that can be felt or seen. In particular, one can see in it the light of love as such: not romantic, not selfish. Real!

I am sure that if you are reading this article, you have experienced this state. And most likely, you know that this feeling can not only be felt, but also realized and expressed. Let’s talk about how to do it.

Don’t choke

I feel the expression of love in two ways, just like breathing. After all, breathing is a process that combines two polarities: inhalation and exhalation. Therefore, in love it is extremely important to master two skills:

  1. active manifestation through action – for example, through care, interest in a person, physical contact;
  2. acceptance – that is, passive contemplation of what we love in a person, internal immersion.

Both of these states, as well as inhalation with exhalation, are equally important. And they must be in balance. It is impossible to just inhale – there will be hyperventilation. Also, you can’t just breathe out – you will suffocate. If there is no harmony, violence or inaction appears in love, depending on what outweighs – “inhales” or “exhales”.

How to come to balance? Try to turn your full attention to the state of love within you. Do not analyze, do not judge, but observe. And ask yourself how to make the transition from one state – the active manifestation of love, to another – the acceptance and contemplation of the object of love – as easy and natural as possible.

We do not notice how inhalation replaces exhalation. But we can trace this process through meditation.

Let active love be in harmony with passive, accepting love in your relationships with yourself and others, and let the very breathing of this feeling be easy!
