Liver cancer is a disease that most often occurs in men, and its detection at an early stage gives a chance for better treatment success. Cancer symptoms are not very specific, and can sometimes indicate normal inflammation or cirrhosis. Among liver tumors there are primary and secondary changes.
Types of liver tumors
1. Primary neoplasms – characterized by the development of a neoplastic process in the liver. They are quite rare, and the cirrhosis promotes the development of primary liver cancer.
2. Secondary neoplasms – that is, tumor metastases to the liver appear much more frequently. Neoplastic tissue cells from the primary focus in another organ (e.g. stomach or pancreas) enter the liver through the lymphatic vessels, blood vessels, or directly through contact with the liver, where they can secondary to large and large foci.
Liver cancer – symptoms
The symptoms of liver cancer are not very specific. At first, they may indicate chronic inflammation or toxic changes or cirrhosis of the liver. Diagnosis of liver cancer

Metastatic liver neoplasms are suspected when the aforementioned symptoms of liver dysfunction are present at the diagnosed primary tumor, and diagnostic methods reveal that there are focal lesions in the area of the liver.

In the case of metastatic and primary liver tumors, the treatment mainly includes: chemotherapy, and treatment that is symptomatic and supportive of liver function.
