Liver attack: recognize the signs and treat them

Typical symptoms of a “liver attack”

The “liver attack”, which is most often indigestion, can result in a host of uncomfortable symptoms:

– heartburn and acid reflux (acid taste in the mouth)

– abdominal pain

– the feeling of being bloated or of having eaten too much

– nausea or even vomiting

When these symptoms appear after a heavy meal, high in fat, sugar, and plenty of alcohol, they simply reflect our body’s difficulty in digesting so much food!

Alcohol alone can be enough to make you sick. By irritating the digestive tract, it can lead to diarrhea, stomach pain and, of course, vomiting.

Add to that the stress of the holiday season, and digestion will be even more difficult …
