“Little potato”: recipe. Video

Potatoes according to the “Potato Crumbs” recipe are juicy and tender. It is attracted not only by the simplicity of preparation, but also by the variety of possible fillings, thanks to which you can get a new dish every time.

How to prepare potatoes for stuffing

For subsequent stuffing, take:

  • 5 potatoes, not too small, of the same size
  • 50 g butter
  • foil
  • products that make up the filling

Rinse and dry the potatoes without peeling. Wrap each potato in 2-3 layers of foil and place on a baking sheet in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius. Bake medium-sized tubers until cooked for at least an hour, large tubers will be ready in an hour and a half. In the meantime, the potatoes are baking, prepare the filling.

The recipe for stuffed potatoes can include both cold fillings in the form of any salted or smoked fish, vegetables and not only, and hot such as goulash, sauté or julienne.

Various compositions of fillings

Option number 1: feta cheese, grated garlic, dill, mayonnaise. Option number 2: smoked mackerel, onions, bell peppers. Option number 3: sausages, green onions, ketchup, mustard. Option number 4: pitted olives, grated hard cheese, smoked chicken. Option number 5: bacon, herbs, grated hard cheese, pickled cucumbers. Option number 6: ham, grated cheese, green onions, pitted olives, mayonnaise. Option number 7: mushrooms fried with onions, grated hard cheese.

The advantage of the dish is obvious: you can put almost any food found in the refrigerator inside and combine both with each other and with the potatoes themselves. It is easy to make any of these fillings: cut the ingredients taken in arbitrary proportions with a reference to your own taste preferences, into small pieces, unless otherwise specified otherwise. Mix the filling ingredients and you can start stuffing the potatoes.

How to cook “potato crumbs”

Remove hot baked potatoes from the foil and cut into halves, in each of which make a depression with a spoon, taking out part of the pulp. Put a piece of butter and a few tablespoons of the filling in the vacant space so that it forms a small slide over the potatoes. If you want to get not just juicy and tasty potatoes, but also a cheese crust on top of it, rub some hard cheese on top and put the potatoes in a hot oven for just a minute until the cheese melts.
