But these results are not recognized by the ruling elite and the heroine is placed under house arrest. So she is separated from her children and her husband, who are banned from entering the country. But the family does not despair and does everything to rescue Suu Kyi from captivity. Thanks to these efforts, the whole world learns about her, and in 1991 she receives the Nobel Prize.

Nikita (1990) – a film that strengthened the audience’s love for the films of Luc Besson. A very dynamic plot revolves around a girl who was captured by the police while trying to rob a pharmacy. In the ensuing shootout, her friends are killed, and the girl herself kills a policeman. For what she did, she was sentenced to life imprisonment. The girl is given an injection, after which she loses consciousness, and when she comes to, she does not remember her past. She is given a new name, Nikita, and is told that she will be an agent of the French Foreign Security Directorate. Rejection means death. Nikita agrees and starts training. From an angular girl, she turns into a femme fatale and takes the first task – to kill foreigners in a restaurant.

The film very realistically tells the famous story of Joan of Arc, whose actions saved Orleans from the English attacking the city. After the liberation from the siege, the name of the Maiden of Orleans was on the lips of all the people. The story goes on to tell how, thanks to Joan, King Charles VII ascended the throne, but treacherously abandoned her and allowed her to be captured by the British. The girl is considered a heretic and forced to give up her views in exchange for her life. She agrees, but the sad ending of this story is known to all – Joan of Arc is burned at the stake.

In 2014, Luc Besson is directing a sci-fi thriller “Lucy”. The tape tells the story of the transformation of an ordinary girl into a dangerous creature with super-intelligence. Lucy succumbs to the persuasion of a friend and decides to make money by transporting drugs in her stomach. In a skirmish, the girl receives a blow in the stomach, from which the package is torn and a huge dose of drugs enters the body.
