Woman`s Day with a make-up artist Valeria Yudina tested 10 red lipsticks of different brands. We have chosen the most worthy and at the same time budget options. We show how these lipsticks look on the lips, how much they suit blondes and brunettes, and share our personal opinion about each. – A pure red color that slightly gives off to coral in daylight. It lays down in a rather thin layer and is practically not felt on the lips – a huge plus. In this case, the shade turns out to be very saturated, with a creamy-glossy finish.

If you have a firm hand, then you can apply lipstick without a pencil – it is dry enough, so the outline is clear and it does not flow into the folds. It lasts a long time and does not dry lips – another reason to purchase such a lipstick in your collection.

– For the Catrice brand, all the hottest trends appear instantly. Here’s another one – fluid lipstick. The texture is amazing: dense but not sticky. The coating turns out to be bright, perfectly smooth with an incredible glossy sheen. But what inspired us the most was that this lipstick can be applied without a pencil, and it will not spread beyond the contour of the lips.

Of course, the gloss on the lips will not last forever, but one more pleasant discovery – after a couple of hours the lipstick gradually turns into a tint, not red, but rather from a series of “your lips, only brighter”.

– Gorgeous carrot-red color with the smallest golden shimmer. Immediately, thoughts about beach parties, the sea and the sand arise – and for this alone, such a lipstick deserves to take an honorable place in every girl’s cosmetic bag.

As for the “driving performance” – the coating even in one layer is quite dense and felt on the lips. Better to apply with a brush. At the same time, even after several hours of wearing, it does not flow into the folds, does not smudge and behaves quite dignified.

– Berry red, with a drop of wine – this is how you can describe this gorgeous color. Soft, even “creamy” – in application you should be careful not to overdo it. But she ideally hides all the flaws: dryness and peeling.

The persistence is excellent – it will survive lunch and dinner, except that the color will become a little paler. But due to the soft structure, it may require a transparent (or matching) pencil.

– A versatile and very beautiful dark red color, lays down easily and does not dry the lips at all. Strictly speaking, even though the name says Matte, this lipstick cannot be called matte. The satin finish is still present, but it is rather a plus.

The durability is decent, after the first bite it does not disappear from the lips, but it can be easily erased with any makeup remover. In general, a classic lipstick that we really liked.

– Perfect red! In fact, this is a lip varnish that, despite its liquid texture, overlaps the lip color from one layer with an even, absolutely uniform red and gives a bright shade with a glossy lacquer finish. The applicator is comfortable, so you can do without a pencil.

Does not flow into the folds of the lips, does not smear. At the same time, the pigment does not stick to the lips, and the varnish is easily erased.

– Incredibly intense shade, in the tube – dark red, on the lips – almost cherry. And yes, it is really matte, so it can accentuate the flaking a little, so we recommend applying a balm to your lips first.

The finish is velvety and insanely beautiful. The persistence is phenomenal. On the one hand, this lipstick will live peacefully with you until the evening. On the other hand, in order to remove it, you will have to arrange dances with a tambourine. Best washable with oil and oil-based products.

– Lipstick-gloss with a sweet scent of lollipops and the smallest pearlescent particles. Due to them, the same 3D effect promised by the manufacturer is created. As with any shine, Crystal Shine gives a translucent finish and bleeds a little – follow the contour. But good hydration becomes an additional effect.

By the way, the shine is layered easily, without streaks and streaks, and with dense application it gives a rich berry and very summer shade.

– Juicy color with a moist sheen. It fits perfectly, even if the lips are not pre-moisturized. The saturation can be varied: in one layer, a translucent shade is obtained, in two, it is already quite bright and dense.

The durability of this lipstick is good, it feels quite comfortable on the lips. It is erased (or absorbed – as you like) gradually, leaving behind a slightly noticeable tint.
