– I really like lipsticks in bright wine shades. And if at the same time they also have a matte effect, then they will surely become my favorites. In addition, such shades become a kind of accent, so no additional techniques are required: the image looks solid and effective. I was not familiar with the NARS brand before, but I was intrigued by the rich color, and I decided that the product would suit me perfectly.

Expectation: I had no doubts about the shade: this is absolutely my color, in which I feel comfortable. But I was curious to know how the lipstick was tested and how long it would stay on my lips.

Reality: the manufacturers said that this is a matte pigment or matte liquid lipstick, which has a long-lasting ultra-matte and ultra-pigmented coating, does not dry lips, lies flat and does not clog into folds. In fact, everything turned out, almost as promised by the representatives of the brand. With only a small amendment: for the result to be perfect, you need to have patience and skill, otherwise instead of a beautiful image you can get something sloppy.

The product itself is in a beautiful glass bottle and is equipped with a convenient brush. The texture of the lipstick is liquid, on a water-gel basis, a rich color is obtained almost after the first application, the product is almost not felt on the lips and lays down evenly. For added effect, I applied two coats. At the same time, there was a feeling that there was absolutely nothing on my lips, so after a while I completely forgot about lipstick. It is worth noting that the product withstood the tests with food, water and coffee, remained in its place, did not smear and did not lose color. If we talk about rinsing, then it is better to remove lipstick with a special tool, then there is a chance to do it neatly and quickly.

Rating: 10 out of 10. I love lipstick! Only skill is needed to gently apply the product to the lips, without going beyond the contours.

– I really love grunge shades. They oblige: the image must be carefully thought out, otherwise you will look like an Eastwick witch, but if the situation is successful, they give brightness.

Expectation: shade # 42 by Seventeen is… wow! Dark purple, eggplant, indigo – this color has many names. Well, there is only one lipstick in a shiny case, and I can’t wait to try it.

Reality: a medium that is dense enough in structure. At first, this upset me a little: I want more moisture in winter. But later I realized: a more liquid lipstick would spread when applied, and in the case of such a bright shade, this is simply unacceptable.

I liked the way Seventeen looks on the lips, and I liked it even more.оske. The lipstick passed the test with a cup of tea, and later with a business lunch – it practically did not wear off.

There was no difficulty in deleting it either. I didn’t even have to use micellar or some additional makeup remover. An ordinary cotton pad was enough.

Rating: 8 out of 10. Very well. True, for a feeling of comfort on the lips, I had to apply gloss to the lipstick. For this, minus two points.

– Lipsticks from Clarins have fallen into my hands more than once, and they are flawless! I was convinced of this more than once, so now, with regard to this brand, I am experimenting only with shades.

Expectation: I got the shade number 732, I can’t say that I was completely sure of it from the very beginning. I love matte lipsticks in nude shades. In this case, everything is just the opposite: the lipstick is glossy, and its color is bright and rich. Therefore, I prepared myself for disappointment.

Reality: after application, my fears were confirmed. The color is definitely not mine, but the quality of the lipstick is excellent, so with a clear conscience I’ll give it to someone.

Manufacturers say that their long-lasting lipstick not only plays on the lips with a bright color and dazzling shine, but also looks after them. It combines translucent color, radiant shine, delicate texture. The smallest pearlescent particles shimmer softly on the lips, remaining completely invisible, with which I completely agree!

Rating: 10 out of 10. For the highest quality, and it’s okay that the shade didn’t suit me.

Expectation: I really like the Clinique lipsticks because of the beautiful shades. They also perfectly moisturize the lips, so you can completely forget about the balm. The brand’s matte cushion is a novelty, and I would like to try it on myself as soon as possible.

Reality: the lipstick has a creamy texture, which is very unusual because it should be matte, probably, it contains moisturizing ingredients. In a moment after application, it really becomes matte. It feels very comfortable on the lips. Another plus is that it has no fragrances at all. The shade on the lips looks very bright, and with the help of a convenient applicator, you can make the shade more intense, which I did. I really liked the cushion, now I dream of trying other shades.

Rating: 10 out of 10. The lipstick is really matte and the shade is just a dream come true.

– I’m not a fan of dark lipsticks and decided on this experiment just for the sake of the editorial board. I got L’Oreal Infaillible Lip Paint in Stripped Brown 213.

Expectation: I am very familiar with the L’Oreal brand and often use their colorless or pale pink lip gloss. And different lines. But in all I am satisfied with both texture and durability. Let’s see how Infaillible Lip Paint behaves in a bright shade.

Reality: I applied Infaillible Lip Paint without primer and regretted it a lot. The texture of the product turned out to be unusually liquid for me. As a result, the lipstick did not fit very evenly on the lips, it had to be corrected several times. But the shade turned out to be quite beautiful. Even better than it looked in the tube.

Rating: 8 from 10… I took off the ball for too liquid texture. Although, perhaps, the whole point is that I applied the product without a primer.

– I chose the color of lipstick solely for the sake of experiment. It turned out that the wine shade suits me perfectly.

Expectation: lipstick double-sided, on one side there is a long-lasting colored lipstick in burgundy shade, and on the other – a transparent glossy lip gloss.

Reality: lipstick fits perfectly and adheres tightly. Keep in mind that it is striking in its persistence and richness. Initially, it is matte, for gloss you can apply gloss. The lipstick withstood the whole day and did not even wear off during lunch and tea, only the shine was erased.

Rating: 10 out of 10. For persistence and rich, beautiful wine color.

– Honestly, I use lipstick only on special occasions, and mostly red. But just recently the idea came up to choose some kind of neutral matte lip tone for every day. I’m talking about my impressions.

Expectation: I like the Maybelline brand: budget cosmetics, which are respected by professional make-up artists. Matte liquid lipstick is a novelty for me, but that attracted me: I love matte textures, but most often they are dry in themselves, and even dry the lips. Vivid Matte Liquid, on the other hand, promised softness. I also counted on durability and comfort all day long.

Reality: my biggest fear was that I would not be able to apply the lipstick evenly. But it succeeded the first time: both the bone is comfortable, and the product itself lays down softly. It feels stable and quite comfortable. Still, it dries a little (but I have not yet met matte lipsticks that moisturize), but it seems to me that in this case a couple of days is enough to stop paying attention to it. The only negative for me was the color. He looked pretty neutral in the tube, and a purple tint appeared on his lips. Perhaps, when choosing, it was necessary to take a closer look at the name of the tone: “Gray envy”.

Evaluation: 9 of 10… Everything is fine, only I will study their assortment in more detail for a warmer shade, since there is plenty to choose from.

– I hardly paint my lips with lipstick, so the editorial experiment seemed to me very intriguing.

Expectation: I mainly paint my lips with a balm, sometimes a gloss with a delicate pink tint. Lipstick gives me the feeling of dry lips, especially in autumn, when they crack and peel from the winds. So let’s see if Eveline works for me.

Reality: I chose a very beautiful, delicate and discreet shade, which I really liked. The texture of the lipstick is delicate, moisturizing and as if creamy. The lipstick has good durability, it lasts quite a long time without snacks.

I would like to say about the smell: I do not like it when cosmetics smell, but with this lipstick you get the feeling that there is a bouquet under your nose. But this is not for everybody, I know many who go crazy over the aromas of caramel and flowers in cosmetics.

Evaluation: 8 of 10 for excessive aroma.
