When looking at the brand, the word “pharmacy” immediately comes to mind, and therefore initially I treated VICHY balm as something healing and restorative. I almost never have problems with dry lips due to the weather, but because of my sincere love for matte lipsticks, lip balm is the best helper. It can be applied under colored lipstick or after removing makeup for extra hydration.

The new balm from VICHY has a pleasant scent, which is promoted by shea butter and rose polyphenol extract, which are included in the composition. An obvious plus is that the product is created on the basis of VICHY temral water.

The balm does not roll down and does not tighten the lips, it is absorbed quickly enough and does not stick. I use it with pleasure for this, according to forecasters, cold and long winter.

At once you pay attention to the balm from LR: the black matte bottle just begs to be held in hand. The product contains cupuasu oil, an evergreen fruit tree oil from the Theobroma genus with a wonderful smell, and vitamin E, which are responsible for gentle care. The application of the balm turned out to be pleasant – a delicate smell, light texture and fast absorption.

True, after 15 minutes, when I looked in the mirror, I was surprised to notice a pink tint on my lips. Hygienic lipstick gave a shade in the style of Baby Doll, which did not win me over, because I love nude shades, but for lovers of delicate, airy looks, this is a great option for the cold season: care, restoration and color in one bottle.

Many people are mistaken in thinking that there are no lip balms in premium brands. I have several requirements for the balm in the cold season – it must protect the lips from wind and cold, nourish them and not be sticky, so that you do not have to tear the hair from the lips at the slightest movement of air.

I liked Nivea balm for its pleasant scent and texture. It contains grape seed extract, jojoba oil and shea tree extract. And also pearl particles and silk extract. He lays down on his lips softly, the sensations are pleasant. But, in my opinion, it is more suitable for rooms – the lips constantly dry from heating, and this tool perfectly moisturizes and nourishes them. However, while there are no special cold weather, it is also suitable for the street, but for cold weather the balm is “thin” – it will quickly heat up and will not protect the lips.

The downside for me was the presence of color – the balm gives the lips a pearly hue, which is good in itself and not at all catchy. But I would like to see a transparent product as a caregiver.

I fell in love with this tool after the first application. My lips are quickly weathered, so with the onset of cold weather I have to protect them all the time. The balm of this brand is quite thick, but due to its structure it reliably protects against wind and cold. This balm has no color – it is transparent. At the same time, it gives a beautiful shine on the lips.

In general, the balm is declared as a modeling, restoring lip contour. I did not see any special changes even after a fairly long time of use. But I was very pleased with the presence in the composition of entirely natural ingredients and oils, for example, rosehip, which has a regenerating effect. It also contains Amur velvet extract and wax.

There is, of course, a downside – you need to apply the balm from the jar with your fingers, which is inconvenient somewhere on the road. The product is felt on the hands until you wash them.

My all-time favorite lip balm – perfect in every way! I have been using it for several months now, but it does not even think to end. I applied it both in summer and autumn, and I will definitely use it in winter. The balm has a very pleasant vanilla scent. At the same time, there are no artificial flavors, dyes and other nasty things in it – it is 100 percent natural. This factor is the most important for me. As part of the product, you can find four types of waxes at once: beeswax, Kandilskiy, pink and Karaubskiy. In addition, the balm is rich in shea and jojoba oils, as well as vanilla and rose extracts.

The product is very easy to apply. At the same time, the surface of the lipstick always remains smooth and even. The aroma is intense, but not annoying. After application, it seems that a fairly dense waxy film forms on the lips. This is especially felt in the cold. I keep my lipstick in my jacket pocket and wear it occasionally when I go out and about. The stick hardens noticeably in the cold and becomes noticeably more difficult to apply. In no case do I consider this a disadvantage of this “hygienic thing!” Even after an evening wash, a thin layer of balm remains on the lips, the lips are very soft and nourished.

I plan to buy this balm again and again!

Caudalie’s stick is not as tight as Weleda’s. It is moist, melting and easy to apply in any weather and at any temperature. It has a subtle aroma – a very natural vanilla-fruity. This balm has also become my favorite! It stays on my lips for a long time, even if I eat or drink. When applied, the lips seem to be transformed: they acquire a delicate shine and a well-groomed look.

The manufacturer recommends using the product as an anti-aging lip care. Until now, there have not been such products in my cosmetic bag, but I am glad that there is an opportunity to slow down the aging of the delicate skin of the lips. The grape seed polyphenols are responsible for this in the balm. By the way, the composition contains many useful oils, including shea, apricot, sunflower and grapes.

I was pleased with this balm. The lips after after him become soft and, frankly, very attractive. In addition, the product promises to repair damaged skin and provide antioxidant protection. I am completely satisfied with this set of functions.

I consider lip balms an integral part of daily care. Especially in the autumn, when the lips are chapped and need increased nutrition and hydration.

I’ve known The Body Shop brand for a long time: I really like their scrubs and body care products. When their new “honey” line appeared, I immediately decided to try lip balm.

The manufacturers stated that this is a gentle balm that instantly melts on the lips and makes them unusually soft and moisturized. In fact, everything turned out almost as promised. The delicate honey smell of the balm turned out to be pleasant, unobtrusive and disappeared immediately after applying the product to the lips. In texture, the balm looks more like a cream, it is absorbed quickly enough, and it can be applied under lipstick or gloss, while the product moisturizes well and protects lips from frost and chapping. Another plus – it is practically not felt on the lips, there is no feeling of stickiness, and is quite economical (with everyday use of the product, this jar was enough for me for several months).

Balm Baume Lèvres Confort Guinot first of all attracted me with its convenient packaging with an applicator. Surprisingly, the first time you press the tube on your lips, you get exactly as much product as you need.

Now I’m going to talk about the texture. It is not very sticky, absorbs rather quickly, and has a neutral odor. In general, everything you need!

After the first application, I was also pleased with the result. Lip skin looks healthy and well-groomed.

In the description of the product it is said that the developers added shea butter, vitamin E, omega-6 fatty acids to its composition. You don’t need to be a beauty expert to know about the amazing caring properties of these ingredients. They moisturize, nourish and protect.

I can’t say if this balm will save severely chapped skin of the lips, but it heals small cracks from the wind after twice use.
