different people. These documents were written several years ago (12, 6 and 3), their authors are familiar to me.

One Maximum is completely «overwhelmed», that is, what was written several years ago does not correspond to reality either in «physics» or in «lyrics». This Maximum remained a project, a pipe dream. A woman’s dream, an idea of ​​​​an ideal life, to which, perhaps, she was going, but decided to sit down to rest, and so she stayed there.

The Second Maximum is formulated in an ambitious and abstract way. I know that its author lives like that — bright and chaotic. That is, whether he will come to the Maximum is not clear, but the process turns out to be exciting, although not quite in the direction where it is stated.

The Third Maximum of Life struck me. I saw that the person who wrote those lines was ahead of the declared “Maximum”. He has done and is doing much more than he planned. And he continues to set new standards every day and work. Each of his new projects is even better, larger and more useful for people. Thanks to him, the amount of goodness in the world really increases.

For us UPP students, Maximum Life is closely related to Distance. Many write Life Maximums. But few people live to the maximum. A lot of people are running distance. But few people work one hundred percent and achieve quick results. It seems to me that the statistics on the quality of work at a distance are approximately the same as on the line of business responsibility. Site Distances

Let me remind you that the ruler reflects the personal and psychological level of a person in terms of taking responsibility, initiative and results. 90% of people, according to this line, are employees, but not managers. They perceive responsibility itself as work.

The performer (their 60%) is guided by the principle of «said — done», without labor exploits. Where you can cheat, so as not to be noticed — cheat. The performer needs motivation, without it he will not work.

A specialist (their 20%) works with high quality, but without a soul. If a specialist finds an occupation more profitable, he will leave.

The responsible employee (their 10%) works with soul and care. He is really invested in the business. But psychologically, he is still a worker, not a leader.

The remaining 10% of people have a different quality of understanding of work (in particular, work on oneself). These are leaders. Local Manager, Director, Owner. The issues of self-organization and the complexity of specific cases are not for them — the leaders have debugged all the necessary mechanisms for the most efficient work and do what leads them to the result every day. They do not have internal torment and desire to sleep longer and merge some task. They don’t have «problems with motivation». They understand why they need it all, and they do it.

Each of us, probably, wants to be, if not the Owner (of his life, for a start), then at least the Director. And we prescribe the Maximum of Life for ourselves strategically, globally, setting high standards. But in reality, it often turns out that the plan prescribed by the Owner is started by a person who has not yet grown morally to a leadership position (even in his own life). And such an Executor of the Maximum Life begins to postpone, negotiate with himself, justify himself, desperately trying to fix life in order to move along it according to the plan. The result is either zero, or «Quietly, quietly, crawl, snail along the slope of Fuji, to the very heights.»

That is, a person is moving in the right direction, but so slowly that it will take him 5 years to achieve the «Maximum for 30 years». Or maybe 300 …

Each of us knows the state of pride for the results of work at the Distance. And there are moments when the exercise was performed formally, when the Performer worked so-so. When days (and weeks) passed, and the matter stood, they did not go to the result. So who do we want to be in our Life — Performers, ordinary employees or real Leaders? What competencies and new skills do we need to work really well?

I confessed to myself and can honestly share this discovery with you, colleagues. Now I am usually a responsible worker. There are days when I fall into the Executor and even the Dependent. I have not yet grown to the level of the Leader of my life, but I am striving and learning. I have a chance of success, I can become a worthy person. Let not the Great, but the Big man to become my strength. Now I will try to live like a leader every day. I will rewrite my Maximum, taking into account the fact that this project will be implemented not by a hack, not by a performer, but by a person with managerial competencies. Only in this case my plans for life will be implemented qualitatively and for the benefit of others.
