How to get health benefits without doing anything? Well, almost nothing. We know such life hacks – simple, but really working.

This exercise, which comes from yoga, looks pretty funny, but its effect exceeds expectations. Just a few minutes a day in a lion’s position – and you will not notice how your throat will stop hurting, as well as tension in the cervical spine, headaches and even, possibly, snoring will go away. And a very pleasant bonus: thanks to the active work of the facial muscles, its contour is gradually tightened and wrinkles are smoothed. How to do this asana correctly?

Initial position: getting on all fours, we sit on our heels, and with our hands we rest on the floor or knees, and the fingers should be tense and spread out. We lower our shoulders, take them back and try to close the shoulder blades. We open our eyes wide, and slightly pull the chin down towards the chest. By the way, you can just stand, sit or even lie in bed, especially at high temperatures.

Technique performance: take a deep breath. As you exhale, slowly stick out your tongue, pulling it forward and down as much as possible. At the same time we utter the sound “gha”, reminiscent of the roar of a lion. The muscles of the throat, chest, abdomen and the whole body should be tense at the same time. On exhalation, we hold our breath for 30 seconds with a tense root of the tongue. In total, you need to do 3-4 approaches, between which you can calmly breathe and relax the muscles.

If in the evening you feel that your nose is stuffed up, onions will help. No, no, it is not necessary to eat it. It is enough to chop half of the peeled onion and place it near the bed. You quickly get used to the smell, but breathing in the morning will be much easier.

Do you spend a lot of time at the computer? If that’s enough, be sure to do the following. Check the distance from your eyes to the monitor and make sure it is at least half a meter. Now attention: move back in your chair and look for the most distant position in which you can normally see the screen and can work or read. Try to sit down each time so that this distance is a little more than usual. Then the eyes will be relaxed, and constant tension will not plant vision ahead of time.

Do you remember how Baron Munchausen fled from desperate situations? Judging by his true stories, one day he pulled himself out of the swamp by his hair. Believing in this story is not necessary, but you are quite capable of pulling yourself out of the routine and daily fatigue. Not by the hair, but by the ears. This is a simple exercise used by the Chinese. It helps to concentrate, revitalize the brain, refresh the mind, relieve fatigue and headaches. There is also a side effect: shine in the eyes and normalization of kidney function.

So what should you do? First, rub your hands together vigorously so that the palms feel warm. Then reach over the head with the right hand to the left ear, and with the left – to the right. With the thumb and forefinger of each hand, grab the upper edge of the ear. Now, at the same time, we pull the tips of the ears up, from 10 to 20 such stretches. By the way, this same exercise will help if you can’t sleep.

Are your diseases related to being overweight? Make yourself a simple rule: if you feel like eating, first of all ask yourself if you want an apple. Not a candy, a piece of cake or a sausage sandwich, but an apple. If the answer is no, the body is deceiving you. In fact, there is no hunger, and the desire to chew something is related to something else. It can be thirst, stress, intense thought process, or, conversely, boredom and idle time.

If your legs are very tired or swollen in the evening, you can take an ordinary wooden rolling pin and roll it with your feet. But it is better to put a plastic bottle of water in the freezer in advance and just use it instead of a rolling pin. There is a double effect: massage of the active points located on the feet and the contrast of temperatures. Feet will become noticeably easier.

If you have a headache, the first thing to do is drink a glass of water. Even if you don’t feel thirsty at all. Very often we simply forget to drink during the day, being distracted by dozens of important things, and the body signals a lack of moisture in this way – with a headache.

Working at a computer often causes dry eye syndrome. We usually run to the pharmacy to buy drops with the effect of artificial tears. But there is an easy way to naturally moisturize the surface of the eye. First, remember the most banal exercise: you need to move your eyes left and right, up and down. We take our time, we move our gaze smoothly and so that there is no pain in the extreme points. But now attention: you need to close your eyes and do the same thing blindly. There should be eight repetitions in total. After that, open your eyes, blink freely and listen to the sensations – have the scratching sensation of “sand”, pain and dryness gone? If not, close your eyes again and repeat eight more times.

Paradoxically, this is so: if you have to stand in one place for a long time, for example, while waiting for transport at a bus stop, then it is better not to lean on two legs at once, but to transfer the weight to one or the other leg, slightly bending the second knee. In this case, the load on the spine is more gentle. If at the same time there is a curb or a step nearby, you can do even better: stand with your toes on the edge, and lower your heels down, slightly springing and gently sipping the ligaments. Or just walk back and forth – it’s better than standing still.
