On March 12, at the age of 83, Oleg Tabakov, an actor and director, People’s Artist of the USSR, died. His vital and creative energy inspired hundreds and thousands of people, and perhaps that is why we see special wisdom in his statements about work, family and attitude to life.
His voice – catchphrases and songs of Matroskin the cat – is known even by today’s children, who, it would seem, grew up in a completely different culture.
