Lichen sclerosus is a chronic inflammation of the skin. It manifests as papular lesions and calluses of the skin that can lead to tissue damage. What are the causes of lichen sclerosus? How to fight and prevent it?

So far, no specific causes of the disease have been identified. It is one of a group of diseases called autoimmune diseases. They form when the immune system, which normally protects against germs, causes inflammation of the skin and other organs. The disease can affect different parts of the body. The symptoms are:

Only symptoms are treated with this disease. It is used:

  4. blood pressure medications;
  5. drugs that open blood vessels in the lungs or prevent tissue scarring;
