The SYNAPSIS Foundation invites you to a training conference People with Asperger Syndrome – the world of emotions with the participation of prof. Tony Attwood and Dr. Agnieszka Rynkiewicz, which will be held on May 17, 2014 in Warsaw at the Muranów Conference Center at the Museum of the History of Polish Jews.

These topics are especially important to all those involved in the upbringing, therapy and education of people with Asperger’s Syndrome. Many students and young people with Asperger’s Syndrome suffer severely from violence and being ridiculed by peers in schools or other youth settings. So far in Poland, these phenomena have been taboo in many schools. Educators, teachers and parents do not fully realize how devastating it is for people with Asperger’s Syndrome, who tend to become victims of not being able to seek help from adults. There is also a lack of literature and training in this area.
