Introduction

You are holding the book “Less to do, more to live” in your hands, and I am its author, Ari Meisel. Before I start, let me tell you a little about myself and my philosophy. I have been in business almost all my life. At the age of twelve, I founded the first company that specialized in website development. When I went to college, I already ran several companies. After studying, he worked in construction, building up the Binghamton area with lofts in three years. Then he returned to New York and took up environmentally friendly building materials. I wrote a book on the subject, invented two types of green building materials, and spent the last eight years in the construction business and consulting.

In 2006, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, a painful and incurable inflammation of the intestinal tract. I had a bad case: every now and then I ended up in a hospital bed, took sixteen pills a day and almost died. Having experienced an exacerbation of the disease in the hospital, I decided to do everything in my power to strengthen the body. Proper nutrition, natural immunomodulators, regular yoga, triathlon and strength training allowed me to overcome the disease and give up drugs. All traces of my “terminal” illness disappeared, and at the Ironman triathlon in France in June 2011, I showed an excellent result.

Since then, I have been talking about my struggle with a seemingly invincible opponent. I realized that stress is largely to blame for the development of my disease, and only proper nutrition and exercise cannot solve the problem. Stress causes many autoimmune diseases and generally poisons life, so this issue had to be dealt with.

For a long time I collected information and observed myself, experimented and analyzed, and then began to conduct trainings to increase efficiency and achieve success. Doing the bare minimum is my approach to daily stress. Its essence is expressed in the optimization and automation of all domestic and professional tasks and the use of third-party resources to solve them. I will be glad to share my knowledge with the reader.
