Simple lemon tincture

You can also experiment a little with sugar, but it is still better to stick to the indicated proportions. After all, the recipes indicate the ideal ratio of ingredients in order to get a tasty and harmonious drink at the end.

Ingredients

  1. Lemons – 5 pcs.

  2. Vodka – 500 ml

  3. Water – 200 ml

  4. Granulated sugar – 250 g

Method of preparation

  1. Pour boiling water over the lemons, wipe dry, remove the zest and squeeze the juice from one fruit.

  2. We make simple sugar syrup from water and sugar, but with the addition of lemon juice.

Lemon tincture with the original way of infusion

We are used to the fact that in the process of preparing the tincture, we put the prepared raw materials directly into the jar and fill it with alcohol. In this recipe, everything is different, the main ingredient will not come into contact with alcohol at all, but the result will be a delicious drink with fragrant citrus notes.

Ingredients

  1. Lemon – 1 pcs.

  2. Alcohol (70%) – 350 ml

Method of preparation

  1. To begin with, the lemon must be thoroughly washed in warm water and get rid of the preservatives that are used to process fruits for long-term storage.

  2. Pour alcohol into a glass liter jar.

  3. And now the most interesting thing – stepping back from the top of the lemon 1,5-2 cm, we pierce it with a needle and stretch a strong thread. Then, with the help of a wire, we fasten the lemon so that it does not touch the alcohol, and the distance between them does not exceed 1 cm.

  4. Now we cover our container with a lid and leave it in a dark place for two weeks at a temperature of 18–24 degrees.

  5. After two weeks, pour water into the tincture. Don’t worry, it will become cloudy at first but will clear up again after a few days, you can also add some sugar according to your taste preferences.

  6. Before taking a sample, it is recommended to keep the tincture for a day in a cool dark place.

Lemon tincture with pepper

Ingredients

  1. Lemon zest – 100 g

  2. Salt – 10 g

  3. Black peppercorns – 5-6 pcs.

  4. Vodka – 1 l

Method of preparation

  1. Put all solid components into a bottle, pour in vodka, seal the vessel tightly.

  2. Wait 1,5 months, shaking the drink from time to time.

  3. Filter the infusion through several layers of cloth, store in small tightly closed bottles.
