Lemon syrup can be used to make drinks, natural lemonades. As well as a natural preservative.
You can also pour this syrup on meat and dessert dishes.
Classic Lemon Syrup Recipe
Ingredients
Sugars – 650 g
Lemon juice – 1 l
Method of preparation
Pour freshly squeezed strained lemon juice into a saucepan with sugar and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 15 minutes.
While the syrup is hot, pour into bottles, but close when cool.
Dilute in cold water to taste.
Recipe for Lemon Syrup with Water
Ingredients
Sugar – 1 kg
Lemon – 10 pcs.
Water – 500 ml
Method of preparation
Squeeze juice from lemons. To avoid getting into the final product of citrus seeds or particles of pulp, it is filtered.
From water and sugar, prepare a base syrup and add freshly squeezed juice to it.
To thicken the liquid, it is simmered on fire for a quarter of an hour. If the consistency seems watery, then the cooking is extended to half an hour.
lemon zest syrup recipe
Ingredients
Sugars – 500 g
Lemon juice – 300 ml (5 lemons)
Zest – 10 g
Method of preparation
Scald the lemons with boiling water and remove the wax with paper towels, then remove the zest with a fine grater.
Squeeze juice from 5 lemons. Strain the squeezed juice through a sieve.
Filter the juice and pour it into a saucepan, add sugar. Heat stirring until sugar dissolves.
Then bring to a low boil and turn off after 2 minutes. Add lemon zest.
Pour the finished syrup into a glass bottle. Keep refrigerated. Consume as needed.
