Tired of cooking the same thing, but you don’t want to look for new recipes, and there is no time? Then you can diversify the taste of familiar dishes with the help of small tricks.
1. Pasta with lemon
Pasta or even ordinary ordinary pasta will sparkle with new flavors if you do not salt them. Instead, squeeze half a lemon into the water when it boils. Then cook the pasta as usual. You will see, it will turn out fresh and tasty! In addition, this way you can reduce the dose of salt in your daily diet, and this is very beneficial.
2. Steak with coffee
You sprinkle the seasoning mixture on the meat when you roast a juicy steak, don’t you? So, add some finely ground natural coffee to the spices. This will give your food a special rich flavor. Culinary experts advise this recipe: ground coffee, paprika, ground chili, caraway seeds, salt, a little sugar and black pepper.
3. Cream cheese omelet
The peculiarity of this ingredient is that it should be added not to eggs beaten with milk, but to the pan just before frying. Place two tablespoons of cream cheese in hot butter, then pour the egg mixture into a skillet and cook over medium heat. Food lovers say this gives the omelet an incredibly delicate texture.
4. Potato salad with horseradish
Usually we cook salads with potatoes in winter, but this year has turned out to be such a summer … In general, if you start making such a salad, it is easy to give it a new taste by simply adding a little horseradish to the sauce. It is better to take fresh horseradish, grated right there, but it will also work from a can. Mix two teaspoons of horseradish with salad dressing and wait for guests to beg for a recipe.
5. Cutlets with applesauce
Or meatballs, or meatballs – everything you make from minced meat will become much softer and brighter if you add applesauce to the meat. The recipe is this: for a kilogram of ground beef, take a glass of applesauce (no sugar, of course), two eggs, a handful of bread crumbs, salt and pepper to taste. Form cutlets or meatballs from minced meat, roll in flour, lightly fry in a pan, and then bake in the oven or simmer in the usual way.
6. Nuggets with cheese crackers
Cut the chicken into portions, then soak in the butter milk and lemon juice marinade for two to four hours. Then dip the pieces alternately in salted flour, beaten egg and crumbled crackers. Then we fry or bake as usual.
7. Chicken tea sauce
However, it is also suitable for pork. If you like meat with orange sauce, try adding Earl Gray tea to your usual recipe. Bergamot in its composition perfectly sets off the taste of chicken or meat. The recipe is as follows: fry a little onion in a saucepan, add a glass of chicken broth, half a glass of orange juice, put two tea bags. Reduce the liquid by two-thirds, and then remove the bags and add a spoonful of honey and a spoonful of butter to the sauce.
