A basic salad dressing recipe that will come to the rescue in times of extreme rush.
Ingredients: lemon, 5 tablespoons unrefined sunflower oil (I recommend Naturata bio oil from Bionica Organic Market), unrefined sea salt, freshly ground black pepper.
Preparation:
Pour sunflower oil into a glass jar, add a pinch of salt and pepper. Squeeze out the lemon juice. To make the juice easier to squeeze, before cutting the lemon in two, roll it on a hard surface by pressing with your palm. Add the juice to the jar, close the lid and shake well.
I really love the taste of sunflower oil, it reminds me of my childhood :). Properly prepared oil (from quality raw materials without heating and additional processing) is rich in vitamin E and is one of the leaders in linoleic acid content among all vegetable oils.
Well, lemon is generally a superfood that needs to be consumed as often as possible. Lemons are rich in vitamins and minerals and have a number of health benefits. For example, despite the sour taste, they form an alkaline environment in the body, which helps to maintain the acid-base balance. This is very important for those who eat animal products and processed foods that oxidize our bodies. Lemons are rich in vitamin C and flavonoids that protect against colds and flu. In addition, vitamin C helps neutralize free radicals that accelerate the aging process. Lemon is an excellent liver stimulant. It dissolves uric acid and other poisons and liquefies bile. Lemons increase peristalsis and, accordingly, the body’s ability to cleanse itself of waste. The citric acid in the juice of this fruit helps dissolve gallstones, calcium deposits and kidney stones. Lemons also contain 22 anti-cancer compounds.
