Legal Run 2017 to be held in Samara
On May 27, one of the main summer sporting events of this year will take place on the embankment, everyone can take part in it!
International charity run of lawyers Legal Run – 2017 is a unique fundraising project that has existed since 2014 and brings together representatives of the professional community of lawyers around the world in support of the wards of the Podari Zhizn charity foundation and several regional foundations.
In 2015, 1500 lawyers united under the Legal Run flag. Then, with the help of a fundraising project, they managed to raise 2,6 million rubles, with their help, targeted assistance was provided to seriously ill children. The races were held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, London, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara and Novosibirsk. In addition to the official races in the listed cities, on the same day, the Global Legal Run campaign was held around the world – global flash mobs of lawyers as part of the project support. About 200 people took part in the action – in those cities and countries where the official race has not yet reached: on May 31, they took to the streets of their cities and ran an arbitrary distance, making a voluntary donation to the Gift of Life fund.
In Europe, the geography of participation stretched from Prague to Lisbon, several lawyers even fled to the United States. More than 300 people worked on the organization of the Legal Run project: these are organizing committees in Moscow and other cities of official races, lawyers, marketers who are not indifferent to sports, charity and volunteers.
In 2016, the project was already supported by 3000 lawyers from 11 countries. Charitable donations have already amounted to 3,2 million rubles, and representatives of 75 Russian and foreign law firms have become not indifferent participants. Thanks to joint efforts, it was possible to provide targeted assistance to twelve seriously ill children.
How to become a participant of the race in Samara?
All races within the framework of the Legal Run project are held in accordance with sports protocols in compliance with all rules and standards for sports events: the presence of ambulances, drinking points and a professional referee team with the most modern equipment. This allows attracting not only representatives of legal professions and their friends to the project, but also professional athletes who are also not indifferent to charity.
On May 27, 2017, a charity race will be held for the third time on the 2nd stage of the embankment near the pool of the Central Air Force. All collected funds this year will traditionally be directed to the Gift of Life fund for targeted assistance to seriously ill children. The Telesem magazine, the Woman’s Day website and the Albion event agency will organize a playground with animation and a drawing of prizes, as well as a photo zone.
