A decrease in testosterone levels leads to a weakening of sexual desire in men. But this process has a positive “side effect”: they become less aggressive and pay attention to others.
Psychologists at the University of Michigan (USA) have found that testosterone levels in fathers decrease in response to the crying of an infant. This reaction was combined with the peculiarities of the behavior of men: they were worried about the fact that the child experienced discomfort, sought to calm and cheer him up. On the contrary, men who were annoyed by the cry of a child, there was an increased level of testosterone.
