First success, then difficulty.

The leader of the training (as well as the teacher or leader when he conducts training) often has the task of analyzing how students or employees worked for a certain period of time.
For example, what was done on the project in a week, or how did you manage to use the knowledge gained at the last training session in your life.
And here, there is a certain risk that the discussion will begin with a discussion of the difficulties that arose during the work. After all, what was ordered to be done is taken for granted, and since it is due, then why boast about it? But if the discussion begins with an analysis of the problems, then in general this sets a negative perception of the work done. Do you need it?
Therefore, in such cases, it is good to use the technique: «First success, then difficulties.» The facilitator’s task at the very beginning is to give an instruction that now each of those present should share their achievements, successes, and discoveries. And only after everyone briefly remembers and talks about what he really managed to achieve, you can proceed to discuss the difficulties that have arisen.
If this is ensured, then the analysis of the work done will be positive. After all, in general, the work is going well, and the difficulties that arise are just an opportunity to make the result even better!
