Learn the 10 steps to properly cleanse your face!

Thoroughly cleansed facial skin should be the goal of daily care – and not only in the evening. Although when we talk about makeup removal we usually mean evening treatments, it is also important to prepare your skin in the morning before applying makeup. In this way, we get rid of dust, dirt, physiological impurities – exfoliated epidermis, sweat, sebum, as well as cosmetics that clog pores and make it difficult for the skin to breathe.

A face that does not “breathe” is a quick way to get blackheads and wrinkles. Thorough make-up removal is one of the most important beauty treatments. If we do it inaccurately, or – even worse – sometimes we forget about it completely, we do our skin a lot of harm. Most skin problems stem from the neglect of this necessary “ritual”, which prevents its hypoxia and thus guarantees a youthful appearance for a longer time. How to properly clean your face and allow it to regenerate at night:

  1. First, wash your hands thoroughly, prepare cotton pads and eye makeup remover. It’s good if you have a special brush, glove or sponge and gel/soap for facial skin cleansing.
  2. We start by removing eye makeup. Apply the soaked pad to the carefully closed eyelid, but do not rub it right away – first wait a few seconds for the liquid to dissolve colored cosmetics – mascara, crayons and shadows. We move the petal from the outer to the inner corner of the eye, but never rub or stretch the skin. The liquid can irritate the conjunctiva in this way, and stretching will quickly give us unnecessary wrinkles. Also remember to remove eyelash makeup. It is best to remove the mascara from top to bottom, with vertical movements, because not properly cleaned eyelashes will become brittle and weak.
  3. With stronger make-up, a flake may not be enough. Then we wash off the remains of the mascara with a cotton bud – removing them from between the eyelashes and the corner of the eye.
  4. Using the same liquid as for the eyes, we wash off the lipstick or lip gloss (exactly the same way – wait a moment and then move the lobe).
  5. Now it’s time for the rest of the face. Clean the cheeks, chin, neck, forehead, etc. with a cleansing milk and a pad in circular motions.
  6. Unfortunately, many women end their evening cleansing ritual at this stage. It’s not enough – makeup remover alone won’t clean the skin. The next step is to remove impurities from the pores. To do this, use a sponge, glove or face brush to cleanse – squeeze your favorite face wash gel on it and massage thoroughly, but at the same time gently. In this way, you will stimulate circulation, drain excess lymph and reduce swelling. Then wash off the gel with lukewarm water.
  7. A good way is to exfoliate once or twice a week. Thanks to this, you will remove dead epidermis, smooth your face and thoroughly cleanse the pores.
  8. After cleansing with the gel, use a tonic that will tighten the pores, disinfect and soothe irritations. Wash the entire face with circular movements. After properly performed earlier treatment, the petal should be clean.
  9. Pat the care cream suitable for your skin type with your fingertips.
  10. Before going to bed, drink a glass of mineral water, and in the morning with the addition of lemon and honey. Water is a great way to cleanse the body of toxins, which will also affect the appearance of your skin!
