PSYchology

When you hear the word «hypnosis», you may imagine the rhythmic swing of a pendulum, immersion in semi-consciousness, loud commands of suggestion, and other spectacular tricks. In fact, since the French psychiatrist Jean-Martin Charcot began to experiment with this «altered state of consciousness» in medical practice in the second half of the XNUMXth century, the approach to hypnosis has changed significantly.

Today, many therapists consider it as one of the tools for personal development, since deep relaxation gives access to our hidden possibilities. Some specialists go even further: they teach their patients self-hypnosis! Hypnotherapist Liz Bartoli, with whom we prepared this tutorial for you, explains: “By introducing people to this technique, I want to help everyone discover their inner resources. And then you can use them on your own. Children are especially susceptible to this technique. So, after listening to a special, metaphorical tale in an altered state of consciousness, they will be able to more easily control their behavior and at the same time learn relaxation. Anyone can enter into a hypnotic state. If you do this regularly, life will change: you will find inner balance, you will know yourself better, you will gain strength, and it will be easier for you to bring your plans to life.

This short guide offers a simple program that will help you reach the very depths of your being. The style in which it is written may seem too monotonous, «hypnotic» in places, but still trust it — it should be so! After all, it really does not hurt us to tune in to a wave of relaxation. Then—and only then—images, thoughts, and feelings will be revealed to us that we had no access to before.

Have a nice walk through your own inner world!
