Crow’s feet are simply radiant wrinkles that appear around the eyes. This is usually one of the first signs of skin aging. They belong to mimic wrinkles and that is why they appear quite quickly. Of course, many individual factors have an impact on their formation, such as: diet, skin care, age, genes. There is no way to completely eliminate them, but you can make them much less visible.

The skin around the eyes is extremely thin, does not contain sebaceous glands and is exceptionally delicate. Therefore, it is recommended to take care of this facial zone as early as possible. The eyes reveal a lot: how we eat, whether we get enough sleep, whether we take proper care of our skin. However, paying attention to the skin in these areas is important not only for aesthetic reasons, but also because of its vulnerability in the face of external factors.

What cosmetics to use?

The right cream is one that will not only smooth out wrinkles, but also complement the skin’s deficiencies with nutrients and inhibit visible aging. Therefore, it should contain moisturizing, protective and regenerating substances thanks to the presence of filters. Pay attention to cosmetics that mainly contain:

  • proteins,
  • eyebright extract,
  • Purple orchid extract,
  • Hyaluronic acid,
  • collagen,
  • Vitamins A, E and C,
  • Japanese Cherry Extract,
  • Koenzym Q10.

Effective treatments

Aesthetic medicine has already recorded extensive achievements in terms of eliminating mimic wrinkles. Those suitable for crow’s feet include:

  • Botox – a well-performed treatment allows you to see the effects about a week after the procedure. They last up to half a year.
  • Platelet-rich plasma – increases i.a. number of cells producing elastin and collagen.
  • Needle mesotherapy – this treatment uses hyaluronic acid. In addition to improving the condition of the skin, it brightens discolorations.
  • Laser treatment – the skin becomes denser, the production of elastin and collagen is stimulated.
  • Hyaluronic acid – that is, injecting it into the area where crow’s feet appeared. The effect is visible immediately after the procedure and lasts up to a year.

Homemade ways

Of course, for people who do not feel like investing in creams and treatments in beauty salons, there are home methods for dealing with wrinkles. They may not give such spectacular effects, but they can improve the condition of the skin under the eyes or constitute a supplementary treatment, used together with creams and treatments. Among these methods, masks and compresses are the most recommended:

  • yeast mask,
  • oil,
  • potatoes,
  • homogenized cheese and honey,
  • green tea compress.
