An unleavened and thin sheet of lavash has become quite popular among modern housewives; many interesting dishes and rolls with various fillings can be prepared from it. Such an appetizer will become a favorite dish on the festive table, and making rolls is very quick and easy.
Recipe for pita roll with salmon
Ingredients: – 2 thin pita bread; – 200 g of cheese; – 400 g of lightly salted salmon; – mayonnaise; – some fresh dill.
Grate the cheese, wash the dill well and chop finely with a knife. Mix cheese and herbs with mayonnaise. Expand the pita bread, put one sheet on top of another and brush thoroughly with the prepared mass. Cut the salmon into small pieces and spread over the pita bread, then roll into a tight roll. Wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator, where it should soak for a few hours. Cut into slices one to two centimeters thick and serve.
Plastic cheese mass is necessary so that the roll keeps its shape well and does not unfold. Such an original and refined appetizer is tasty and healthy, looks great on the festive table
Ingredients: – 4 sheets of pita bread; – 4 chicken eggs; – 300 g of ham; – greens (any); – 300 g of mayonnaise; – 150 g of cheese.
The first step is to boil the eggs. Then peel them and chop with a knife (you can grate). Cut the ham into thin slices, wash and chop the herbs. Spread the first sheet of pita bread evenly with mayonnaise, spread the slices of ham. Cover with a second sheet of pita bread and lay out the filling of minced eggs mixed with mayonnaise. Put grated cheese mixed with mayonnaise on the third sheet of pita bread. Cover the filling with a fourth sheet of pita bread and thickly coat it with mayonnaise, sprinkle with chopped herbs and roll into a tight roll. Put in the refrigerator for soaking for two to three hours, cut the roll before serving.
For the preparation of the roll, it is recommended to use rectangular sheets of lavash. Roll them along so that you end up with a not too thick, but long sausage.
Ingredients: – 3 sheets of pita bread; – 400 g of fresh mushrooms (champignons or honey mushrooms); – 200 g of soft processed cheese; – 1 stalk of leeks; – Dill; – butter or vegetable oil (for frying); – salt; – ground black pepper.
Take a leek, wash it and chop it into half rings. Process the mushrooms and cut into medium slices. Put the skillet on fire, add oil and heat. Add the chopped leeks and sauté for a few minutes. Then send the mushrooms to the onion and fry for 15 minutes until fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper, stir. Cool the filling. Brush a sheet of pita bread with a third of melted cheese and sprinkle with half a serving of chopped dill. Lay the second sheet of pita bread on top and brush it again with the third part of the cheese, distribute the prepared mushroom filling. Next, put the pita leaf again and brush with the rest of the cheese, sprinkle with chopped dill and roll into a roll. Let soak for two hours in the cold.
For the preparation of rolls, it is recommended to use the highest quality sheets, carefully baked, they have an appetizing smell. Low-quality pita bread has a raw dough smell
Ingredients: – 1 thin pita bread; – 400-500 g of chicken breast; – 7-8 lettuce leaves; – 1 red bell pepper; – 2 chicken eggs; – 300 ml of mayonnaise; – salt.
First you need to boil the chicken breast until cooked in salted water. Cool the meat and chop finely (you can grind in a blender). Boil eggs, peel and chop finely. Wash the bell pepper, remove the seeds and partitions from it, cut into thin strips. Combine chicken with bell pepper and eggs, add 200 ml mayonnaise and mix thoroughly. Unfold a sheet of pita bread and grease its surface with mayonnaise, then overlap the lettuce leaves, lay out the meat filling. Lightly salt and wrap everything in a roll, put in the refrigerator for several hours. Before serving, cut the roll into pieces two to three centimeters thick.
To prevent a delicious and appetizing lavash roll from winding up, store it in the refrigerator, after wrapping it with cling film, foil or putting it in a cellophane bag
Lavash roll with crab sticks
Required ingredients: – 4 sheets of thin pita bread; – 4 chicken eggs; – 300 g of crab sticks (can be replaced with crab meat); – greens (dill, parsley, green onions); – 250-300 ml of mayonnaise.
Place two sheets of pita bread on top of each other, brush with an even layer of mayonnaise and sprinkle with chopped herbs on top. Put another sheet of pita bread on top and grease with mayonnaise again, spread the crab sticks cut into thin circles evenly. Cover with the last sheet of pita bread, brush with mayonnaise and sprinkle with boiled and grated eggs (or finely chopped). Next, all layers must be rolled up into a tight and tight roll, removed to a cold place for several hours for impregnation. Slice the roll before serving and arrange nicely on a flat large platter.
