Latopic probiotic is currently available only in the form of capsules (in the past it was also available in sachets). As the manufacturer assures, Latopic is the only one on the Polish market probiotic preparation for dietary use, which contains Polish strains of bacteria that have been thoroughly tested for atopic dermatitis (AD) and food allergies. As a result, it is properly adapted to the sensitive intestinal bacterial microflora of Polish children.

  2. Lactobacillus rhamnosus ŁOCK 0900 (25% of all bacteria in the composition);
  3. Lactobacillus casei ŁOCK 0919 (50% of all bacteria in the composition).

  2. adherence to intestinal epithelial cells;

Latopic – action and indications for use

Latopic is a probiotic designed primarily for people struggling with atopic dermatitis. It has been proven that in patients who struggle with this disease, the intestinal barrier becomes relaxed. This, in turn, may increase the permeability of allergens. Lactic acid bacteria contained in the Latopic probiotic can support the tightness of the intestinal barrier, as well as stimulate mucus secretion and have a positive effect on the microbiological and immune balance of the body.

Thanks to this, Latopic can soothe the symptoms of atopic dermatitis in people with food allergies. It has been proven in clinical trials that its use reduces itching, as well as the extent and intensity of skin lesions. Thanks to this, it also indirectly improves the quality of sleep.

Latopic can also be used as an adjunct in people with lactose intoleranceusually manifested by gastrointestinal problems such as diarrhea, constipation, gas and abdominal colic. It is based on a significantly limited activity or complete lack of the activity of intestinal lactase – an enzyme responsible for the breakdown of milk sugar into galactose and glucose. Probiotic bacteria, which are included in Latopic, can take part in the active fermentation of these substances and thus have a positive effect on patients struggling with lactose intolerance.
