Side twisting is the technique of the exercise:

  1. Lie on the floor, legs slightly bent at the knees and turned to the left, as shown in the figure.
  2. Bring your right arm behind your head. This will be your initial position.
  3. On the exhale, pull your right elbow forward, as did the customary twisting.
  4. After a moment’s pause on the inhale return to starting position.
  5. Complete the required number of repetitions, put the legs in the other direction and repeat approach on the other hand.
