The number of people with visual impairments is constantly growing both in Poland and around the world. The Polish Ophthalmological Society points out that we are now more exposed to vision defects than before, and myopia is taking epidemic proportions. Every second student in Poland has a visual impairment. What’s more, the data from the Central Statistical Office show that every fourth adult person has a problem to read the newspaper because they do not see the print well. So the problem is serious. How to deal with it?
