The use of inexpensive materials reduced the price, and the use of the necessary technological solutions and advanced equipment made the laser level popular.
So, we have a review of the 4D HIBIRU laser level, model OMNITRONIC 4360. Consider, in addition to specific characteristics, the package bundle, the pros and, of course, the cons of the device. Let’s start with the characteristics, since in the review we will refer to some data.

As already noted, the 4D Hibiru Omnitronic 4360 laser level has an extended package. This allows you to perform various work with horizontals, verticals and at an angle (with the inclusion of the TILT function). The kit includes:

Case
Let’s start with the case. Its absence is not very practical and safe for the tool. A bag is a good option, but the laser level device suggests it needs to be protected. No matter how carefully you handle the device, there is still a danger of dropping it, catching on something, and finally, it will simply fall during transportation.
The case is made of ordinary plastic, but there is nothing wrong with that. The main thing is that it is equipped with stiffeners, which makes it durable, and this is important for reliable storage. The latches correspond to the color of the green beams of the device, which is correct, since there are levels with red beams.
The lodgement for accessories is made of foamed polyethylene, which is good, foam rubber deteriorates and crumbles over time.
Tripod
The use of an elevation tripod makes it possible to raise the level to a height from 45 cm to 1,2 m. The top platform has a built-in bubble level to help you level the tripod.
Telescopic leg locks are located on the inside. Not to say that this is convenient, but probably done for aesthetic purposes or for safety, there are no protruding parts. This is how many cheap, Chinese tripods are arranged.
On the central bar there is a lock against spontaneous folding. There is a case for carrying and storage.
Laser level
The case is made of ordinary plastic with a metal bottom platform. The top cover, in tone to a beam has green color. A very good solution for Hibiru is the use of a spatial bubble level. This allows you to quickly and accurately install the device.
Switching on by switch, at the same time the self-levelling function is activated, working up to 3 corners0, if this value is exceeded, a warning sound will sound.
The device uses a pendulum-type compensator on magnetic dampers. Time of stabilization and transition to working position within 5 seconds.
If it is necessary to carry out work with tilt, touch and hold for 2-3 seconds of the middle sensor, the TILT function is activated. This turns off the sound warning about the roll, turns off the compensator and beams. In this state, it is better to protect the device from impacts.
Hibiru’s 4 laser level towers project 16 green beams in 360 degrees, forming 8 horizontal and 8 vertical lines. The green color of the laser has the best visibility both indoors and outdoors. Glasses are included to distinguish lines well at long distances.
The panel has three touch buttons with symbols:
- “H” – controls the horizontal beams.
- “V” – vertical.
- – brightness control.
The middle sensor controls another function:
- Long touch for 2 seconds turns on the TILT function.
Level 4D Hibiru is powered by quick-change Li-on batteries with a voltage of 3,7 volts and a capacity of 5800 mAh. Batteries without recharging provide 8-9 hours of work, that is, almost the entire working day. With discharged batteries, operation from the mains is allowed by connecting the charging unit.
L-bracket
Required for work at heights exceeding the height of a tripod and under the ceiling. Equipped with two neodymium magnets that allow you to attach to metal structures in the room, and in their absence to the metal plate included in the kit. The level is attached to the L-bracket by the upper tower with a special adapter.
The position of the fixed laser level on the bracket is adjustable in several planes: vertically, horizontally, and around its own axis.
Lift-base
An elevating platform is needed to precisely bring the beam to the right place. Platforms are made of aluminum with a plastic lifting mechanism. It is very unreliable and the platform tilts when raised.
Base 3600
Allows rotation to accurately bring the beams vertically to an already installed Hibiru 4D level with minimal impact on it.
Remote control
The Hibiru laser level has a remote control function. The remote control allows you to turn the beams on and off, as well as adjust their brightness. In this model, it is not possible to enable the tilt function from the remote control. The control range is 30 meters.
In this model, the inclusion of the TILT function from the remote control is not implemented, although it is written in the instructions.
Adapters
For attachments to a tripod, base, etc., the kit includes adapters:
- threaded ¼;
- from thread 5/8 to ¼;
- attachment to L-bracket;
- for tilt work.
Pros and cons of the device
Every device has its downsides. The 4D Hibiru Omnitronic level is also not without them, but the number of positive qualities is greater, which allows us to give the device a positive review.

Cons
There are also negative points, but they are less. We will not mention the use of cheap plastic, this is not a minus, but fragile towers are an omission. So:
- fragile prism towers;
- the lodgement is not in the form of a level;
- lift-base backlash;
- glasses are scratched.
The place for the device in the lodgement is not quite in shape with low sides. In the lift base, the lifting mechanism is made of plastic and has a large backlash in the body. With the elevator raised with the Hibiru Omnitronic level installed on it, we get a big roll. Metal towers would have been more durable.
There is no receiver in the kit, but this is also not a minus, you can buy it separately. If necessary, a smartphone with the front camera turned on can replace it.
However, it should be noted that all these remarks do not affect the accuracy and performance of the device.
Level feedback
When working with a level at a construction site, you need well-defined lines, projection accuracy, ease of installation and control. The Hibiru 4D Omnitronic 4360 laser level has all this, and at a very attractive price. The complete set of the device is beyond praise. The device is calibrated, ready to work and has a 1 year warranty.
Considering the above and having checked in practice, the Hibiru 4D level with 16 beams definitely deserves a positive review. The device will be useful not only in home construction.
