Lamisilatt 1% is recommended for the treatment of athlete’s foot (athlete’s foot).

Dosage

Adults after thorough washing and drying the feet and hands, they should apply a thin layer of the liquid first to the places between the toes, then around the toes, and then to the entire sole and sides of the foot to a height of 1,5 cm, first on one and then on the other foot. It is necessary to lubricate both the affected and healthy looking skin. One should not bathe and wash feet for 24 hours. The improvement of clinical symptoms occurs after a few days.

Lamisilatt 1% and contraindications

Contraindications to the use of Lamisilatt 1% are:

  1. hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation,
  2. the period of breastfeeding,
  3. there is no clinical experience with the use of terbinafine in pregnant women,
  4. the preparation can be used during pregnancy only if absolutely necessary after prior consultation with a doctor,
  5. the effectiveness of the preparation in children has not been tested, therefore it is not recommended for use in patients under 18 years of age.

Lamisilatt 1% – warnings

  1. If symptoms persist after one week after using Lamisilatt 1%, contact your doctor.
  2. Repeated use of the drug to treat the same mycosis infection is not recommended.
  3. It should not be used in the treatment of hyperkeratotic, chronic, plantar tinea pedis (moccasin type).
  4. Lamisilatt 1% is intended for external use only.
  5. Do not use on the face (may cause eye irritation).
  6. In the event of accidental eye contact with the drug, rinse the eyes with running water.
  7. In case of allergic reactions, remove the drug from the skin surface with an organic solvent such as alcohol, and then wash the feet with warm water and soap.
  8. The preparation contains alcohol.

Lamisilatt 1% – interactions

No studies on the interaction of Lamisilatt 1% with other drugs have been performed.

Concurrent administration of other preparations for treating foot diseases is not recommended, although interactions of topical terbinafine with other drugs are not known.

Lamisilatt 1% – side effects

Side effects resulting from the use of Lamisilatt 1% include mild and transient skin symptoms at the site of application, such as:

  1. dry skin
  2. skin irritation,
  3. burning sensation,
  4. in very rare cases allergic reactions such as rash may occur: itching, dermatitis bullous and hives.
