Lakcid L is used as adjunctive therapy in viral diarrhea in children, in functional disorders of the intestines caused by a lack of normal bacterial flora, in the prevention of travelers’ diarrhea and in intestinal disorders caused by antibiotic treatment. The drug contains live lactobacilli, therefore people allergic to cow’s milk protein should not use it. The preparation is a powder for oral suspension and is available without a prescription.

Lakcid L is a preparation containing live lactobacilli, restores the correct composition of the intestinal bacterial flora and helps to maintain it.
Lakcid L – indications and dosage
Lakcid L is a product recommended:
- as adjunctive therapy in viral poles in children,
- in intestinal disorders caused by the lack of normal bacterial flora,
- in the prevention of traveler’s diarrhea,
- in intestinal disorders caused by taking an antibiotic.
Drug dosage
Lakcid L is a powder for oral suspension. The contents of the sachet should be dissolved in a teaspoon of milk or water.
- Adults. Usually 2 doses / day.
- Children from 2 months of age 1 dose / d.
Lakcid L – contraindications
The only contraindication to the use of Lakcid L is allergy to cow’s milk protein.
Lakcid L – warnings
- The preparation does not affect the ability to drive and use machines.
- Pregnant and breastfeeding women may take Lakcid L. However, they should consult a doctor before use.
- The preparation should be stored at 2ºC – 8ºC (in a refrigerator), protected from light and out of the reach of children.
- The suspension should be consumed immediately after preparation.
