Lakcid forte is a medicine containing live cultures of Lactobacillus rhamnosus bacteria, which support the proper functioning of the intestines. It is recommended to take the drug during antibiotic therapy, in the autumn-winter period, when the incidence of cold viruses is higher, and during the journey, when the intestinal microflora may be disturbed.

Lakcid forte – action

Lactobacillus rhamnosus are lactic acid bacteria that are found in the digestive tract. They are beneficial bacteria that support digestive processes. If they are missing, there are problems with the digestive system, especially diarrhea, which is devastating for the body. The health effect of the drug is due to:

  1. restoring and maintaining proper intestinal microflora,
  2. limiting the multiplication of harmful bacteria,
  3. protect the intestinal epithelium from the bacteria that cause traveler’s diarrhea
  4. shortening the duration of diarrhea and alleviating its course.

The antibiotic not only destroys the harmful bacteria that caused the disease, but also destroys the beneficial bacteria, and the lack of them results in problems with the digestive system. Lakcid forte, taken during and after the antibiotic, reduces the risk of diarrhea.
