Historical reference. It is believed that the brewery was founded at the beginning of the 1581th century, although 2 is taken as a documented date. After XNUMX years, the brewery, along with the surrounding lands, was sold to King Rudolf II. After the change of ownership, the company became known as the Royal Brewery, and the monarchical crown appeared on the emblem that adorned the gates and beer barrels. After almost two centuries, the plant came under the control of the Swabian princes Furstenberg, from that moment the consistent development of production began.

Under the leadership of the Fürstenberg and Wallenstein families, the brewery flourished until the 1940s, and the popularity of Kruszowice beer went far beyond the borders of the state. In the post-war years, the nationalized plant took its place among the most successful companies in the country and supplied products to the entire Central Bohemian region. In 1987, output reached 258 hectoliters. The starting point of the newest history of the brewery was 000, when the enterprise again passed into private hands and became a joint-stock company. The modernization of production and the installation of the first line in the Czech Republic for the production of beer in kegs contributed to the expansion of the geography of exports.

In 2007, Královský pivovar Krušovice was acquired by Heineken International, which increased its share of the Czech beer market to 8,5% as a result of the deal.
