Krambambulya is a Belarusian national drink, which contains honey, alcohol and various spices. This is a kind of honey tincture.
The name of the alcoholic drink was derived from the famous world liquor Krambambuli, for the preparation of which brandy and juniper are used. Such alcohol was created only at a few factories in Gdansk.
Krambambula gained wide popularity in the early 2000s. Today, the drink can be seen in bars and restaurants of the CIS countries, and on the territory of Belarus, the creation of krambambuli at an industrial level has been established.
Benefits of Krambambula Drink
In the winter period of the year, such a strong tincture is served hot. It warms the cardiovascular system and the stomach. In summer, krambambula is supplemented with ice, so the drink can cheer up a tired person.
Honey activates the beneficial properties of the herbs that are present in the composition, and alcohol is an excellent preservative.

Recipe “Traditional Krambambulya”
The prepared drink smells pleasantly of honey and spices. It can be consumed both chilled and heated.
The recommended krambambuli strength is 25 degrees.
Ingredients
Vodka – 1 l
Water – 0,5 L
Honey – 130 g
Allspice – 6 peas
Cinnamon – 2 sticks
Carnation – 6 buds
Nutmeg – 1 g
Method of preparation
Initially, purified water and 500 ml of vodka are poured into the pan. The container must be put on a small fire.
Next, spices from the list of ingredients are added, the contents are mixed well.
Do not bring the liquid to a boil. It should languish on fire for about ten minutes.
Now the liquid with spices must be removed from the stove, cooled to about 60 degrees Celsius.
Only after that honey is added and another 500 ml of vodka. The contents are thoroughly mixed, covered with a lid, infused for about ten minutes.
At the final stage, the drink is filtered with gauze, poured into a jar.
You need to put it in a dark and cool place for about 2 weeks.
After this time, krambambula will need to be filtered again.
Aromatic Crambambula Recipe
Orange zest is used in the preparation of this drink. You can drink the tincture immediately after you filter it.
Ingredients
Vodka – 2 l
Water – 0,4 L
Honey – 0,5 kg
Allspice – 10 peas
Cinnamon – 4 sticks
Ground cinnamon – 1,5 g
Nutmeg – 0,5 g
Orange peel – 5 g
Cloves – 4 buds
Method of preparation
The base is made first. Allspice must be chopped, put it in a saucepan.
Cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and orange peel are also added here.
The mixture is poured with water and vodka (volume approximately 0,3 l).
The pan is placed on low heat, honey is added to the mixture. The drink must be heated for 15 minutes.
Be sure to stir the contents of the pan. If foam appears, it is removed using a slotted spoon.
Important! Keep the temperature of the mixture up to 60 degrees.
Next, the drink is removed from the heat, covered with a lid, left for half an hour. He must cool down and infuse.
Now the syrup created earlier is poured into a jar, diluted with the remaining vodka. The container must be tightly closed with a lid.
Some people prefer to infuse krambambula with orange zest. In this case, you need to leave the jar in a dark and cool place for about 1-2 weeks.
During the entire storage period, the contents of the jar are shaken 2 times a day.
