Therefore, after studying for 3 courses, he took the documents from the educational institution.
After that, the young man, in order to earn money and be financially independent, took up any job. He washed floors, worked as a janitor, moonlighted as a street musician, and later entered the Saturday theater studio as an assembler. This was his first step, leading to the top of the ladder of his creative path.

The young man really liked the theater, a bright life, performances, rehearsals, artists – all this is a completely different life and he had the opportunity to look into this life from the inside.
And then I got my first role in this theater, on this stage. True, it was a crowd scene and the young man could hardly be distinguished from the crowd, but for him it was a significant and decisive step.
After this performance, it was decided to study acting. In 1990 Konstantin entered the State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography in Leningrad. He ended up in a workshop under the direction of Veniamin Filshtinsky.
Such well-known actors as Andrei Zibrov, Mikhail Porechenkov, Mikhail Trukhin studied with him on this course. Until now, they maintain friendly relations that originated in their student years.
After graduating from the theater institute, he went to work in the experimental theater “Crossroads”.

In 1999, fate brought Konstantin together with his first wife, Anastasia. Their acquaintance took place in a small cafe located near the Lensovet Theater, where Khabensky worked.

For Konstantin Yuryevich, it was a heavy loss. After this terrible event, the actor founded a charitable foundation, which collects funds to help children with cancer.
