Def .: Occasional pin-cushion growths above the interphalangeal joints of the hands.

Etiol .: Unknown. Sometimes autosomal dominant inheritance. Possible trauma with the existing genetic predisposition.

Clinical: Fairly sharply delimited, symmetrical pincushion growths on the skin covering the proximal and distal interphalangeal joints.

Hist .: Thickening of collagen fibers in the dermis.

DR: Calluses, Heberden nodules.

Heal: There is no effective treatment.
