How do you master this miracle technique? Let’s consider the main stages of work:

1. Preparation of the yarn. In order for the thing to turn out to be of high quality, it is important to approach the choice of threads responsibly. If you are working on a typewriter for the first time, the choice should be stopped on a yarn of medium thickness. If it is unwound, then it is necessary to wind it into a ball so that the thread runs smoothly.

2. Thread the inner end of the yarn into the carriage of the machine.

3. Knitting should be started with the selection of the first row. It is better to use the needle wrap method. After mastering this method with others, you will get along easily; then you need to insert the thread into the tensioner so that its end is fixed near the tripod.

4. Using a comb, tighten the required number of needles and begin the process of weaving them with yarn. It is necessary to wrap against the clock hand, supporting with your fingers; when the last needle remains, you will need to insert the thread into the thread guide.

5.Using a comb, return the needle to the starting position. It is important to control the fiber: it should not sink or pull tight.

6. There is an adjustment dial on the carriage, thanks to which you can set the density – the length of the loops. The first time it is better to select a value between 7 and 9. Move the carriage from right to left. But by no means the other way around! Each needle should contain one loop. This means that everything is done correctly.
