Klindacin T is a medicine in the form of a colorless, transparent gel used to fight acne vulgaris. The gel should only be applied to the skin; contact with eyes, mucous membranes and damaged skin should be avoided. In the event of contact with these places, rinse them with plenty of cold water. The active substance of Klindacin T is the antibiotic clindamycin; 1 g of gel contains 10 mg of clindamycin phosphate. Clindamycin is a semi-synthetic derivative of the natural antibiotic lincomycin. The other ingredients of the preparation are propylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol, purified water, hydroxypropyl cellulose and sodium hydroxide. The drug is intended for children over the age of twelve and for adults; The safety of the drug in children under the age of 30 has not been established. As with any drug, dose should be determined by a physician and adjusted to the individual needs of the patient.
