Kishmish Jupiter – grape variety with description and photo

Less than 20 years ago, a group of scientists from the US Research University in Arkansas developed the Jupiter Kishmish grape variety. This interspecific hybrid quickly won the love of winegrowers and amateur gardeners, thanks to the good taste of berries and unpretentiousness in care.

  Description

Kishmish grape Jupiter USA belongs to seedless, stenospermocarpic, table varieties with early ripening, no more than 110-125 days. Seedlessness is high, sometimes small rudiments are found. The bushes are medium or strongly tall. U.S. Jupiter kishmish grape cuttings take root very well. A young bush begins to bear fruit already 2-3 years after planting. The flowers are bisexual, well pollinated. On the shoots, 2-5 inflorescences are tied, which do not need to be normalized, since with proper care the grapes can easily cope with the load. The optimal number of eyes per plant is 35-45. The vine is cut at least 7-9 eyes. Of the replacement buds, the shoots are mostly fruit-bearing. Jupiter has a good affinity with CO4 rootstocks, Berlandieri x Riparia and Kober 5BB.
